CCTV (PSS) Operative

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements to the CCTV (PSS) Operative course; however the minimum age requirement for entry into this course is 18 years.

You will be asked to bring along Identification documents (Both part of provisional or full UK driving licence, passport) and 2 forms of proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc) along with 2 passport size pictures.

A range of other documents can be accepted as a proof of address.

  • Legislation
  • Dealing with incidents
  • Surveillance techniques

Contents of Unit 3: Practical Operation of CCTV Equipment:

  • CCTV equipment practical operation assessment

Q: What is the aim of this course?

The need for quality training of CCTV (PSS) Operatives has long been recognised. Too often a highly sophisticated system has been carefully planned, expertly installed and commissioned with little or no thought given to the training of those people responsible for its use. This four-day course is designed to assist companies in the provision of basic job training that meets the SIA requirements for licensing. Delegates will gain an in-depth understanding of the current legislation pertinent to their work and invaluable awareness relating to the purpose and principles of CCTV surveillance systems.
